Neal Capie: Reverting back to barbaric times

Recent events remind me of more primitive times. A group of armed men are going out looking for the people taken by the demons. It's like a lynch mob. Or, like in the past, with warring tribes, when the men did battle, killing other men and taking their opponents' women and children prisoner. What will happen if the men who went off are killed? Will more men follow? And what if they are successful? Do they think the demons won't come back?
